And by doing so, that they would be agreeing to receive emails about the product for that purpose. At the bottom of the signup page, Telstra says users need to register before October 19. Which suggests that this will be the potential release date for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6 release date is not confirmed

It’s worth pointing out that a pre-registration page for the upcoming Pixel devices does not mean this is a confirmed release date. But it does make this date seem pretty likely. Especially when you factor in past leaks. Back on September 9, Google seems to have teased this exact date. Through a post on its Instagram page, it posted photos of the Pixel 6 with the clock widget showing a date of October 19. With this registration page now available to Telstra subscribers mentioning the same date, it appears the speculation of that past teaser may have been accurate. Google usually releases its newest products at the same time in most regions. So expect the date to be the same for the US as it is in Australia and other regions.

It won’t be long now

In addition to these recent leaks, more evidence suggests that a release date is just around the corner. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have just recently passed through the FCC. And, Google has already started putting up advertisements for the device just about everywhere. On billboards. In its physical Google Store location in New York City. And even on its Google Store webpage. Google wouldn’t be doing all these things if it wasn’t preparing for an upcoming launch. October 19 is still a little under a month away. So it’s not like the phone is coming this week or anything. But now that consumers may have a firm date to go by, they can start preparing for the purchase if they plan to pick one of the phones up.
