Well, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be on sale starting on August 26. With pre-orders starting today. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is going to set you back $1,799 for the entry-level model and go up from there. Samsung is also going to offer the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in three colors: Phantom Black, Graygreen and Beige. Which are very different colors from previous years. It’s pretty impressive that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 was able to keep the same $1,799 price tag, despite the many rumors stating it would go up in price. Not to mention, record-high inflation and a chip shortage.

The best foldable Samsung has ever announced

It should come as no surprise that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the best foldable that Samsung has ever announced. First off, the main and the cover displays are now 3mm wider. Making for a better experience, with slightly less awkward aspect ratios. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also 45% stronger than the previous model. The main screen is a lot stronger now, and that’s great since it can also work with the S Pen again. Both the S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro work with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. On top of that, Samsung brought some of the camera features from the Galaxy S series down to the Galaxy Z Fold 4. That includes AI portrait mode among other things. The cameras themselves got upgraded too. We now have a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x space zoom available. There’s a 50-megapixel main lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens as well. These sensors are now larger, so your pictures are going to be 23% brighter too.
