The Twitter Labs features include pinned conversations and longer video uploads

There are two new features available to try out, but they, unfortunately, leave Android users behind. The first feature is the ability to pin conversation for the iOS app. In your DMs, you will be able to take a conversation and pin it to the top. This is for people who get a lot of direct messages and want to put their most important one front and center. The next feature is one that people have been waiting for, but it’s bitter-sweet. Twitter is testing out the ability to post longer videos to the platform. Twitter and Instagram have been infamous for only letting people post short clips. Instagram, however, recently let people post videos up to 60 minutes long. Now, Twitter is experimenting with longer videos, but not to that great of an extent. Creators will be able to post videos up to 10 minutes long. While this is an improvement, the catch is that you can only do it if you upload from your desktop. If this feature gets picked up, it will undoubtedly trickle down to mobile platforms.

If you’re in the US, and you want to try out these features, we’ve got some bad news

These new features do seem exciting, but Twitter Labs isn’t available in America at this time. Right now, Twitter is testing the program out in Canada and Australia. The company didn’t elaborate on when it will expand to other countries.

In Other Twitter News: The ‘downvote’ option could soon be available for the web

Right now, the only popular platforms that let you dislike posts are YouTube and Reddit. For a while now, we’ve known that Twitter was flirting with the idea of having downvotes. The company even went so far as to test out the feature in a limited capacity. App researcher Jane Manchun talked about the mechanics of the button. Basically, the button will sit next to the Like button and glow orange when tapped. When this rolls out, it will be for the desktop version of Twitter. This leaves Android in the dust, as the feature was previously tested on iOS. Twitter wasn’t clear on the official launch date. By the way it sounds, it could be starting to roll out now.
