Sky: Children of The Light was launched on Android and iOS a few years ago. And while not a true successor to Journey, it has many elements inspired by it. A big part of that of course, is because it comes from the same studio. Which has taken a few of the things people loved about Journey and implemented them in this more recent title. But there are plenty of differences, too. And although Journey still stands tall as the better of the two games, Sky: Children of The Light is worthy of your time. The thing is, some people just don’t like mobile games. And that’s perfectly ok. Now, if you fit into that particular camp, you can experience the game on PlayStation consoles.

Sky: Children of The Light comes to PS5 and PS4 on December 6

Those looking to give this game a try only have to wait another week. As the game launches on December 6. Like its mobile counterpart, the PS5 and PS4 versions will be completely free-to-play. There will however be a ‘Journey Pack’ bundle that PlayStation players can purchase for $24.99. As the name suggests, this bundle will include items inspired by the acclaimed title Journey. The pack includes a cape, hood, and mask with the same designs worn by the Journey avatars. What’s more, is that there’s cross-play between console and mobile. So if you have a friend that plays on their phone, you can play together. To celebrate the upcoming launch on PS5 and PS4, there’s also a new trailer that you can watch below.
