This is the possible design of Samsung’s first rollable phone

In the gallery below the article, you can not only check out the sketches of the device, but Letsgodigital partnered up with Mark Peters to bring those sketches to life. The designer created some concept images based on the sketches. The end result is a really nice-looking smartphone, to say the least. The phone you can see here not only has a rollable display on the front, that can expand, but it has a separate display on the back. Its rollable display can expand up to 50-percent, and it expands to the right. It’s somewhat similar to the one we’ve seen on the OPPO X 2021. Both panels you can see here are curved, by the way. There are three cameras included on the back here, and they’re vertically aligned. They do protrude on the back as well. An LED flash sits right below those cameras.

That display on the back could be a problem

This phone does look sleek, no doubt about it. We can immediately see one drawback, though, its secondary display. Putting this device on a table will cause some people to sweat, presuming there’s not a case on it. That’s another worry, making a case for this phone could be a challenge. We’re sure that Samsung will come up with something, presuming it launches a device like that. Rollable smartphones are coming, that’s for sure. OPPO did announce the very first one, but it’s not available for purchase, nor will it be. It does work, though, which gives us hope that we’ll see more such devices in the near future. Samsung is rumored to announce its first rollable phone in 2022.
