The brand’s latest accessory though is a transparent back plate for the Steam Deck. This replaces the standard matte black back plate that comes on it originally. And yes, that does mean you would need to remove the factory back and put on the new one. With that being said, the process for doing so couldn’t be made simpler. Thanks to a repair guide from iFixit and numerous tutorial videos. On top of all that, JSAUX even bundles the transparent shell for the Steam Deck with a few extra goodies. Including a screwdriver and a disassembler stick to help with the plate removal.
The Steam Deck transparent shell comes with additional rear buttons
You ever think the rear buttons on your Steam Deck are just, not quite right for you? Well it seems JSAUX is thinking about you then. Its new shell accessory comes with three additional sets of back buttons. All with different heights. You can totally leave on the regular button set. Which is one of the three that come with the shell. But it also comes with a set that’s lower and one that’s higher. So you can swap them in when you replace the back plate. JSAUX also promises that the transparent shell will provide better cooling due to the heat dissipation aluminum sheet that sits on the left side.
