For most of the 30-second video, Samsung talks about how professionals, fashion influencers, and chefs can get the most out of their Galaxy foldable using Flex mode. But towards the end, the video features a dog standing on a jet-propelled skateboard and filming itself on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the help of Flex mode. What’s so special about it, you may ask. Well, if you remember, when Apple released the first batch of TV ads promoting its original iPhone, it also made an ad highlighting the YouTube client that came with the handset. The video showed a dog skateboarding. It shouldn’t be a coincidence that Samsung’s ad for the Flex mode feature on its latest foldables has something similar. As said earlier, the dog is still on a skateboard but one that flies thanks to jet propellers. And it has a foldable phone set on Flex mode. Perhaps Samsung is trying to show how far we have come since the first iPhone launched 15 years back.

Samsung will take things up a notch later this year

Samsung launched the original Galaxy Fold in 2019. Three years on, the company still occupies a lion’s share in the foldable smartphone market. Hardly anyone has challenged its dominance. But the market is getting more competitive lately, with several new entrants over the past few months, and in the upcoming months. But the Korean behemoth has a solid headstart and is all set to take its foldable game up a notch later this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with some notable upgrades in a few months. We are expecting flagship-grade cameras, faster charging, improved flexible display, and many more upgrades. At the same time, the new devices are also said to come with lower entry prices. We will let you know as and when we have more information about the upcoming Samsung foldables.
