The OnePlus 10 series to have similar design to its predecessors

This information comes from Yogesh Brar, a tipster. He says that the OnePlus 10 series will launch as “polished series 9 models”. He shared this information via Twitter. On the other hand, he confirmed that the company has a number of Nord series models on the way. On top of that, some new accessories are coming during the next launch event. Having said that, do note that OnePlus is rumored to skip the T series handset this year. OnePlus has been launching T series handsets with powerful specs for years. It may break that tradition in 2021. We may have to wait until mid-2022 in order to get a new OnePlus flagship. If this rumor ends up being true, the OnePlus 10 series will pick up all the design cues from the OnePlus 9 series. So, we can expect a display camera hole, plenty of curves, a metal + glass design for the Pro model, and also a curved display for that variant.

Will OnePlus launch its new flagships earlier this time around?

It is possible that OnePlus plans to move up its flagship launch event next year. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why we won’t get the T series flagship in 2021. OnePlus may launch the 10 series in Q1 next year. That’s just a wild guess, but anything is possible. The sales of OnePlus flagships grew immensely, so in 2021 the company shared some staggering numbers. It remains to be seen if OnePlus will be able to keep that momentum, though. Other than the fact it will have a similar design to the OnePlus 9 series, we don’t know much about the OnePlus 10 series. We do expect some major improvements in the camera department, though. OnePlus announced its partnership with Hasselblad for the OnePlus 9 series this year. Hasselblad did mess around with the color science on the cameras, but wasn’t really involved in the development all that much. That will probably change when it comes to the OnePlus 10 cameras, which is a good thing.
