The Game Dashboard was first introduced with Android 12, but it was a pain in the neck to enable. You had to go to your notification settings and enable the feature through the Schedule section under the Do Not Disturb settings.

Time for another addition to my Android 13 deep dive! — Mishaal Rahman (@MishaalRahman) July 28, 2022 However, a report from Mishaal Rahman lets us know that this feature will be much easier to access on Android 13. All you would have to do is go to your settings and find the Google settings page. From there, you should be able to see the Game Dashboard section right under Find My Device.  Just know that this feature is still rolling out. If you’re using a Pixel 6, 6 Pro, or 6a on the Android 13 beta, you’ll need to wait for the update to come. It won’t come through a system update. Instead, you’ll see an update to the Google Play Services. This feature is available to people using Google Play Services v22.30+.

What is Game Dashboard, and why should Android 13 users like it?

In case you don’t know what this feature is, it’s a useful tool if you’re a Pixel user who likes to game. This Pixel-exclusive feature will actually create an overlay when you’re playing games. The overlay will give you access to useful tools that will make gaming better. It will boost the processor’s performance for better gaming, and it will also optimize the battery so that you use less power. The dashboard will also block notifications so you’re not being disturbed while you’re gaming. If you want to capture footage of what you’re playing, you can do so easily. There’s a shortcut to begin recording your screen.
