So you’ll have to decide how much storage capacity will do for you before buying the phone. That said, the devices may not be available with the maximum level of storage capacity in all regions. According to SamMobile, who has exclusively confirmed this storage boost for the upcoming foldable duo, the model numbers SM-F936J, SM-F936N, and SM-F936W of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be available in a 1TB of storage option. These are the model numbers for the same device intended for different markets. The SM-F936N should be the South Korean model of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Other regional variants may also get the storage boost but it’s unconfirmed as of now. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 models confirmed to be getting 512GB of storage capacity include SM-F7210, SM-F721U1 (unlocked US units), and SM-F721N (South Korea).

Samsung is making numerous upgrades to its foldable lineup with the 2022 models. Along with the storage boost, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also get a more durable and scratch-resistant flexible display, flagship-grade cameras, bigger batteries, faster charging, and improved internals. But the company may not reduce the price of its foldables this year. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will likely start at $1,000 for the base model with 128GB of storage. The 512GB variant could cost north of $1,100. The Galaxy Z Fold 4, on the other hand, should start at $1,799 for the 256GB model. It could go all the way up to $2,000 if you opt for 1TB of storage. With the official unveiling expected in August, more details about the upcoming Samsung foldables should emerge in the coming weeks.
