Detailed Xiaomi 12 Ultra specs indicate a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO 2.0 OLED display

Based on this information, the phone will feature a 6.73-inch QHD+ OLED display. That will be a 120Hz display, and an LTPO 2.0 panel. It will offer an adaptive refresh rate, and it will be a 10bit panel. It is not mentioned by the tipster, but this will almost certainly be a curved display. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will fuel the device, while the C2 ISP will also be included. Android 12 will come pre-installed on this smartphone, with the company’s MIUI skin on top of it.

A 4,900mAh battery will be included, along with 120W wired, and 50W wireless charging

A 4,900mAh battery is also a part of the package, and the phone will support 120W fast wired charging. In addition to that, 50W wireless charging will also be supported, and we’re guessing reverse wireless charging as well. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX989 sensor, OIS) will be backed by a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera (OIS). The third camera on the back will be a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto unit (120x zoom). A single 32-megapixel camera will sit on the front.

The device will be IP68 certified, and include LPDDR5 RAM + UFS 3.1 flash storage

The tipster also mentioned stereo speakers, of course, and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. An X-axis Linear Motor will be included for haptics, while LPDDR5 RAM will also be a part of the package. The same goes for UFS 3.1 flash storage as well. An in-display fingerprint scanner will be used, though we don’t know if it will be an optical one, or an ultrasonic one. You can also expect to get an IR blaster here, while the device is said to ship in Black, White, and Marble color options. On top of everything else, the tipster also talked about the price tags for the device. It seems like we’ll get four different models, at least in China. Three different RAM configurations will be available.

Quite a few different variants will be available, at least in China

The 8GB RAM model will ship with 256GB of storage. That variant is set to cost CNY5,999 ($882). There will be two 12GB RAM models, one with 256GB of storage, and the other with 512GB of storage. Those two variants will cost CNY6,499 ($956) and CNY6,799 ($1,000), respectively. A 16GB RAM variant will include 512GB of storage, and will be priced at CNY7,299 ($1,074). Do note that the global model likely won’t include all these variants. We still don’t know when exactly will the Xiaomi 12 Ultra launch, but the phone is allegedly coming in Q3.
