So we are here to help you pick out the best Samsung smartphone that you can buy right now. This list will include flagships, mid-rangers and low-end smartphones. So there’s something for every budget.

Best Samsung Galaxy Smartphones

Samsung probably does this better than any other smartphone maker. And that is making a handful of smartphones available in each price range. So if you only have $400 to spend on a new phone, you aren’t stuck with just one phone. There’s a few you can choose from.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Price: $1,199Released: February 2022Where to buy: Samsung.com

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is now our pick for the best Samsung smartphone that you can buy. That should come as no surprise since it is the most recent premium phone from Samsung. The Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is under the hood, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also a 5000mAh capacity battery included here. There are a couple of downgrades here compared to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, like the RAM, but you also now get the S Pen included. You can find out more in our full review here. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - Samsung.com

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

For many, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is going to be the best foldable available. That’s because of the larger cover display, and then it opens up to be almost a tablet-sized display. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 6.2-inch cover display, which unfolds to reveal a 7.6-inch main display. It’s a larger, and almost square display that works really well for those that like to take notes with the S Pen. It also has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage inside. There’s a 4400mAh capacity battery inside, which is somewhat small by today’s standards. Fold 4 is really great because it allows you to do a lot more on your phone, and really be productive while you are out and about. Which is really nice.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

Price: $999Released: August 2022Where to buy: Samsung.com

With the new Samsung foldables now out, our pick for the best foldable smartphone is the Galaxy Z Flip 4. We feel that it is a better option for most people because of the price and the size. Essentially, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a 6.7-inch phone that folds in half. Making it great for those with smaller pockets. It sports the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery did get upgraded this year, and is now a 3700mAh battery. Which does provide some really great battery life, as we found in our review. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is mostly the same as any other smartphone, but now it folds in half. Which is really cool.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Price: $699Released: January 2022Where to buy: Samsung.com

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is the latest smartphone from the company. It’s the “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S21 that was released last year. It sits in a relatively odd position in Samsung’s portfolio. That’s because it is very similar to the smaller Galaxy S21, but a bit worse in some areas. However, it’s barely cheaper than the regular Galaxy S21. The S21 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz display (it’s not adaptive though). It also has the Snapdragon 888 5G processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There is also a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well. It boasts a 4500mAh capacity battery too. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE - Samsung.com

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G

The Galaxy A52s 5G was announced back in September of 2021, as a successor for the Galaxy A52. Which was one of the most popular smartphones that Samsung ever made. It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, along with the Snapdragon 778 5G processor, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It also has a massive 64-megapixel sensor for the camera. So you’re going to get some really good pictures out of this phone. And it’s all powered by the 4500mAh capacity battery.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G

The Galaxy A32 5G is one of the more affordable smartphones on the market today. It comes in under $300 – and you can probably find it on sale for under $200. This smartphone boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display, along with the MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 720 5G processor inside. Which is pretty rare for a Samsung smartphone, they typically use Qualcomm or their own Exynos chipsets. It also sports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Like most other smartphones in this price range, it does also have a massive battery. Coming in at 5000mAh capacity, which should last a few days.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

Price: $999Released: February 2022Where to buy: Samsung.com

The Galaxy S22+ is the middle child of the Galaxy S22 series this year, and it’s honestly, probably the best of both worlds for most people. It’s a large phone, with flagship specs, minus the S Pen. Samsung has outfitted the Galaxy S22+ with a FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 4500mAh capacity battery this year, which is smaller than the Galaxy S21+ had last year. So battery life might be a concern, but it should still perform quite well. Samsung Galaxy A42 5G

The Galaxy A42 5G is a bit older than most of the other phones on this list, coming out in late 2020. And the design definitely indicates that. But this prism design on the back is pretty neat. It boasts a 6.6-inch HD+ display, the Snapdragon 750 5G processor, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (across all variants). There is also a pretty massive 5000mAh capacity battery that should keep it running for a couple of days on a single charge.

Samsung Galaxy S22

Price: $799Released: February 2022Where to buy: Samsung

If you are looking for a smaller phone that also has premium specs, then the Galaxy S22 is the way to go. It offers up a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz display. Which is kinda weird that, 6.1-inches is considered small now. Under-the-hood, there is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Making it a pretty good smartphone to pick up, for around $800. And you’ll likely be able to find it even cheaper at Samsung, or even your favorite carrier, thanks to different trade-in offers.
