As usual, the Bluetooth SIG certification doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming Samsung mid-ranger. The device is listed with the model number SM-A346B. It should be the global version of the phone. The listing shows dual SIM support and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, the same as the Galaxy A54 5G. It also confirms the market name of the handset, i. e. Galaxy A34 5G. These two Samsung smartphones have been in the news for several months now. Leaks have been coming more frequently in recent months, though. We are hearing that the Korean behemoth will not include a depth sensor on the back of its 2023 Galaxy A models, something leaked renders have confirmed. Both Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, as well as the likes of the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A24, will feature three cameras on the back. Camera specs are not known, at least for the Galaxy A34 5G. The pricier model will reportedly get a 50MP main camera. Both models may switch to a display aspect ratio of 19.5:9 from 20:9. The display will reportedly measure 6.5-inch and 6.4-inch, respectively. Leaks have revealed a lot more about the Galaxy A54 5G, which you can find here. We expect the other model to follow suit in the coming weeks. Samsung may launch both phones in the first quarter of next year or the early second quarter.

These Galaxy A models will top Samsung’s 2023 mid-range lineup

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G will be Samsung’s top two mid-range offerings in 2023, in that order. That’s because the company no longer plans to launch the Galaxy A74. The Galaxy A7x lineup may be gone forever for good. It almost overlapped with the company’s Fan Edition (FE) models in terms of pricing. The Korean behemoth is understandably scrapping the series in favor of new FE devices. The Galaxy S22 FE will fill the gap between the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy S23. If rumors are anything to go by, Samsung should launch the Galaxy S23 series in early February next year. The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G should arrive next, possibly in March. These two mid-rangers will likely be followed by the Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE. Finally, Samsung should launch new foldables and flagship tablets in the third quarter of 2023. We will keep you posted as soon as we have more information about these Galaxy devices.
